📋 The Problem: A 2-Storey House Settling on Soft Coastal Clay
Mahachai–Samut Sakhon is low-lying coastal land with an unusually thick layer of soft clay, so a house's load can settle unevenly. The signs here were an uneven floor, doors and windows starting to stick, and splits along the floor–wall edges.
📏 The Survey: Laser Leveling Before Any Work
Our engineers set up an optical level and a rotating laser to measure the actual settlement at each corner of the house, then used those readings to set the position and number of piles — and the precise lift required at each point.
⚙️ Micropiles 26–27 m Deep, Through the Soft Layer
We opened the floor along the footing only where needed, then hydraulically jacked steel micropiles, segment by segment, 26–27 m down to genuinely load-bearing strata. Because the soft coastal clay runs deeper than usual, the piles had to go exceptionally deep to transfer the building's weight securely.
