A home in the Ratchaphruek Perfect Place project had a settled ground-floor slab that had separated from its beam/wall, opening a gap beneath the floor. The defining feature of this job was accessing that under-floor space to lift the slab back from below, using micropiles and hydraulic rams.
🛏️ Settled Ground Floor, an Under-Floor Gap
The settlement pulled the ground-floor slab away from the structure, leaving a continuous gap beneath the floor along with cracks in walls and tiles. The team marked and measured the cracks before starting (Before).
🔧 Accessing the Under-Floor Space — Lifting from Below
The crew went into the under-floor space, installed steel piles, and used hydraulic rams to push the slab back up — a method that reaches and fixes the problem without tearing up the whole floor.
📏 Laser-Controlled Level + Pressure Records
A laser level and pressure gauge controlled the gradual lift, with pressure and depth logged for every pile so the floor returned precisely to level.
✅ The Result: Floor Back in Place, Cracks Closed
After the lift, the slab returned to position, the under-floor gap was filled, and the cracks closed (After) — the structure stable again and the work neatly restored.
