The Khlong Sam Wa area is former lowland with soft clay, so homes there tend to settle at several points at once — and this house was no exception. URETEK planned to reinforce the interior with micropiles at every column and footing position, to support the whole house in balance.

🌾 Soft-Clay Lowland — Why It Settles at Many Points

Soft clay in low-lying areas carries load unevenly and keeps consolidating, so houses often settle at multiple points rather than one. The fix requires piles across the full load-bearing line.

🧭 Planning Piles at Every Point

We surveyed and set pile positions throughout the interior along the columns/footings, opening the floor only at each point to reach and install the piles.

⚙️ Micropile Jacking (Including Raking Piles)

Steel piles were hydraulically jacked to firm strata, with some installed as raking (inclined) piles to suit the footing positions; the pile heads were welded to the existing structure and pressure logged for every pile.

✅ The Result: The Whole House Supported

With piles at every point, the structure is supported in balance throughout, the settlement stopped, and the interior closed with concrete and neatly restored.
