Severely Settled Home, Phetkasem — Full Micropile Underpinning

This detached home in the Phetkasem area had settled quite severely. When the floor was opened for inspection, deep voids and subsided soil were found beneath the slab in several places. The job called for full underpinning — opening the floor along the interior footings and working beneath it — with URETEK using hydraulically-jacked micropiles to fix the whole house systematically.

🕳️ Severe Settlement, Deep Voids

The settlement was severe enough to crack floors and walls. Opening the floor revealed wide voids beneath the slab and eroded soil — a sign the footings had lost support at multiple points.

📏 Survey & Settlement Measurement

Settlement was measured with a tape and levels taken with a laser, and the pile positions needed around the interior footings were assessed.

⚙️ Multiple Openings + Micropile Jacking

The floor was opened at each pile position and steel piles hydraulically jacked to firm strata; some points required working under the floor with horizontal rams to lift and support the settled structure, with pressure and depth logged for every pile.

🧱 Filling Voids, Welding Pile Heads, Casting Concrete

Pile heads were welded to the existing footings, the voids beneath the floor filled, and concrete cast at every point to restore full bearing support beneath the slab.

✅ The Result: Settlement Stopped Throughout

The structure is stable again, the voids fully filled, the floor back to level, and the work neatly restored — a once-severely-settled home returned to confident use.
