Overnight Aircraft-Apron Lifting at Chiang Mai Airport with Polyurethane

📍 Overnight Aircraft-Apron Lifting at Chiang Mai Airport with Polyurethane 📅 2 Aug 2026

The settled, uneven aircraft apron at Chiang Mai Airport was lifted and re-leveled by URETEK with polyurethane injection — working overnight airside under strict airport safety coordination, and returning the stands ready for use before the first morning flights.

An operating regional airport has a limited window to maintain its apron — usually overnight, after the last flight. At Chiang Mai Airport, URETEK lifted and re-leveled the apron with polyurethane, working overnight under strict airside safety coordination.

🛬 The Brief: Working Airside at an Operating Airport

Airside areas demand high safety control, so the team worked only on designated stands, coordinated with airport staff, and had to clear the area before the morning flights.

🌙 Overnight, Fast, Precise

Using compact equipment, PU was injected to lift and re-level the apron point by point with laser control, all within the limited overnight window.

💠 Polyurethane Injection to Lift the Apron

Small holes were drilled in the concrete and resin injected beneath the slabs; the resin expands to fill voids and lift the surface back to level, bearing load as soon as it sets — with no resurfacing.

✅ The Result: Stands Ready Before the Morning Flights

The apron is even again and safely carries aircraft, with the stands handed back in time for the first flights — demonstrating URETEK's ability to work under strict aviation constraints.
