Floor Lifting Beneath Stainless Water Tanks, Betagro Khon Kaen — No Tanks Moved
The concrete floor beneath the stainless steel water/treatment tanks in the utility building at Betagro Khon Kaen had settled. URETEK lifted and re-leveled it by polyurethane injection, controlled with an optical level — without moving the tanks or shutting down the system.
In food-industry plants, stainless water and treatment tanks are very heavy and connected to extensive pipework. When the concrete floor beneath them settles, moving the tanks out to repair the floor is virtually impossible. So the floor beneath the tanks in the utility building at Betagro Khon Kaen was fixed with polyurethane floor lifting, which works directly under the tanks.
🏭 The Brief: Lift the Floor Under Heavy Tanks Without Moving Them
The stainless tanks are full of water and already connected to the system, so breaking out the floor or moving the tanks would disrupt production. URETEK injected PU point by point beneath the tank bases — without removing the tanks or shutting the system down.
📐 Optical-Level & Staff Measurement
The team set up an optical level and used a staff to precisely measure the floor and tank bases, controlling the lift so the tanks returned to correct, balanced level.
💠 Polyurethane Injection to Lift & Re-Level
Small holes were drilled and polyurethane resin injected beneath the foundation; the resin expands to fill voids and raises the floor/tank base back to level — controlled gradually with a metered injection unit while reading the level throughout.
✅ The Result: Floor and Tanks Back to Level, No Downtime
The floor beneath the tanks returned to level and the tank bases are stable — with no shutdown of the plant's water system and no tanks moved, ideal for factory work that must maintain production continuity.
